Hero's Journey-Percy Jackson

Ordinary world- Percy Jackson goes to boarding school and gets kicked out of school. he then goes home for summer to see his mother.

Called to adventure- On a school field trip at the museum Percy was attacked by his teacher Mrs. Dodds and Mr.D helped him.

Refusal of the call- Percy freaks out when his friend Grover told him that he was a half-blood.

Crossing the Threshold- Percy mother took him to a hill where a minator takes his mother away and then he passes out and finds himself in a hostpital cabin and he was in camp half blood.

Allies, Trials and enemies- Grover and mr.D both help Percy helps him threw the training. His enemies are the minator, madusa, the high draw and the underworld.

Temptation- Hades made a deal with Percy that if he returned the lighting bolt to him that he would give his mother back to him.

The underworld- Percy fights a guy from camp half-blood because he was the one that stole the lighting the bolt but blamed it on Percy.

The Transformation- Percy finally meets his dad for the first time and gets his mother back.

The return- Percy mother waits for him at the camp and he stays at the camp.

Thyroid problems: thyroid disorders are conditions that affect the thyroid gland. The thyroid gland is shaped as a butterfly and is underneath the Adams apple. There are 2 types of thyroid problems.

Hypothyroidism:  hypothyroidism is when the thyroid gland is underactive, improperly formed after birth. Symptoms of hypothyroidism usually slowdowns in metabolism and can include weight gain, depression, fatigue, among others.

Hypothyroidism signs: Dry skin and pail skin

Coldness

Depression

Fatigue

Muscle and joint aches

Puffy face

Hyperthyroidism is when the gland is overactive and produces to much thyroid hormones. The most common cause of hyperthyroidism is autoimmune condition known as graves’ disease.

Hyperthyroidism sighs: Tremor

Fast heart rate

Nervousness

Fatigue

Increase sweating

Weight loss

Trouble sleeping

Anxiety

Intolerance for heat

Having a thyroid disorder can affect with pregnancy like early labor, premature babies, smaller babies and preeclampsia.

Preeclampsia is a serious condition starting after 20 weeks of pregnancy that can cause high blood pressure and problems with the kidneys and other organs.

Exercise can also be difficult with people that have thyroid problems.

Ordinary world
Percy ordinary world is when he goes to boring school and  gets in to fight and gets kicked out of school. Percy also lives in new York. 



Called to adventure
When Percy is called to adventure the first thing was when his teacher Mrs. Dodds attacks Percy on there school field trip and Grover and Mr. D helps Percy fight her.



Refusal of the callPercy freaks out about being a half blood when his friend Grover tells him that he is one and needs to go to the camp to be safe.


Crossing the threshold  Percy doesn't really leave his normal life he actually fights a minator and wakes up in camp half blood.

Grover and Mr. D are Percy protectors and Percy's enemies are the minator, madusa, high draw and the underworld




Temptation 
Hades made a deal with Percy to give him the lighting bolt and Percy can have his mother back.




The underworld
Percy escapes the underworld with his mother and Percy has to find Luke to get the lighting bolt back and to give it to the gods.





The transformation
Percy meets his dad for the first time and Annabeth meets her mother for the first time as well and gives the gods there lighting bolt back



The return
 Percy's mother is waiting for him at camp half blood and after that they live happy ever after.

dear blog,

hi im Percy. i just found out that i am a half blood, at first i didn't think it could be true. but when Grover said that my mother was gone and is captured in the underworld with Hades i kinda started to think it was true also when i fought that monster i thought it was all a dream but nope it wasn't. well anyways so far camp half blood is good. i met this girl named annabeth and this guy named Luke, at first i got scared because all these monsters where chasing me and Hades blamed me for stealing the gods lighting bolt. i dont know why they would blame me when i didnt even know there was a world like this. anyways Hades made a deal with get him the bolt i get to have my mother back. so im setting off to go find that lighting bolt that everyone wants and getting my mother back.  first stop is this food place. i met this really weird girl, that game me free food and drinks for me and my friends. at first she was really nice, Grover my friend found a statue that looked like his uncle that was really weird, but anyways yeah she turned out to be really mean. she had snakes on her head and gray eyes so that when you looked into them you turn to stone. how weird is that.  anyways me and my friends Grover and annabeth got outta there fine, we also took Medusa's head with us just in case we need to use it, you never know when Medusa's head will be handy.

 This book is about a 12 year old boy named Percy Jackson that goes to boarding school and meets his friend Grover. Percy gets kicked out of boarding school then goes to visit his mother. Percy's mother takes him to a cabin. On there way to the cabin a Minotaur attacks them and Percy fights him and hades takes Percy's mother to the underworld. after Percy finds out that he is a half blood and then goes to camp half blood. Percy learns how to fight and finds out that he is the son of Poseidon and meets his friend Annabeth. After Percy, Grover and annabeth goes on a quest to go find this mother in the underworld. what i liked about this book is that they made up all these weird creatures and i dont really hate these book.
